Hoggs have been making sporting tweeds for over 30 years. Their men's waterproof tweeds are designed for the professional working countryman, constructed from hardwearing, wool-rich tweed, Teflon coated for rain and stain resistance. The Dirleton range is in a brown check with a claret and navy check. The Edinburgh range is in a green check with a claret and gold check. Both ranges are designed with all the important features required for heavy country use, including (for jackets) cartridge pockets, nylon'drip strips' at the hem, and game pockets; and (in the breek styles) fully adjustable legs, with half linings, and reinforced pockets. All hat styles are waterproof, and Dirleton also has a waistcoat option available. Recent years have seen Hoggs move into Women's tweeds, and this season's ranges are Highland and Isla and, as with the men's Hoggs ranges, women's styles feature fully waterproof jackets and hats, in durable rain and stain resistant fabrics. Also featured this season are men's tweeds from Brook Taverner, also fully waterproof, as well as women's dress tweeds from Jack Murphy and Allan Paine.
